First of all the examiner will ask you to introduce yourself so IELTS starts with the introduction part.

For introduction:

*Leave your belongings.

*Don't forget that they are recording the speaking.

*Show your Identification Card.

*Examiner may take some notes, it's ok don't worry it's not about you.

* And remember the examiner is the only one who asks questions ;)

You could be worrying about the test and this is fully okay, don't be late to the class and try some inhale-exhale exercises and try to stay positive. It should help if you were exposed yourself to an English environment before the exam that will warm you up.

Hold on, the exam is starting:

*Examiner will ask your name and how can he/she call you. Don't be stressed 😁 try to avoid some extra fancy words or sentences, just keep it simple and nice.

The first concept:

In IELTS, it's common to see questions about your hometown/your living place, or your work/studies. Let's prepare for them.

So for your hometown,

*You can talk about where do you come from or where do you live, don't panic just answer the most comfortable one for you because it does not matter for the examiner, he/she doesn't care at all.

*Examiner will ask you about details sure, keep it cool don't make it so fancy just go to the straight point and keep your English like spoken

*It's substantial that your English sounds spoken not written if you are going to study; don't write the answer and don't memorize it. Record your answers in a spoken way and write them down as chunky parts to help you.

*You could talk about why you like here, name some fancy places maybe, and if the examiner talks about jobs here you could say some specific jobs about your town maybe it's an industry town or a farm town, mention that!

You might get a question about your house/accommodation, for this question:

*You should start with the location like suburbs or countryside maybe in the center of the city.

*Then talk about the type, it can be a bungalow or an apartment may be a villa with a nicely designed garden. Try to make your sentence rich without making it complex.

*Examiner might ask you questions about the decoration, you could talk about your paints, furniture, etc and mention why you choose them or like them.

You could get face to face with a question like: What do you do, what do you study? Let's talk about them:

*Just talk about what do you do, give some examples but in a spoken natural way. DON'T MAKE A LIST simply keep your answer but not list them.

*You could talk about what do you like or don't, talk about the facilities you had or friends/atmosphere give some details why you like about them

*Examiner might ask you what would you like to change about your job/study, don't just answer explain why.

So keep your answers clean and simple especially in the introduction part and make your sentences rich.
